FINLEGSIG Meeting & Annual Dinner

Our annual dinner will take place, as last year, in a private room with beautiful art-nouveau wall hangings and other features at Grand Café Restaurant 1e Klas at Amsterdam Central Station. This is now accessible both from platform 2b and, without the need for an OV chip card, using a separate staircase to the right of the central hall in the station.

Before dinner, John Hynd will give a short talk on tips as a criminal-law interpreter. As we all know, John has amassed a good couple of decades and more of experience successfully interpreting at, and generally helping, courts, judges, the prosecution and the defence all over the South of the Netherlands. As last year, the dinner will consist of a three-course meal with meat, fish and vegetarian options. SENSE is subsidising this event so members pay just €45.50 including up to four drinks plus coffee and/or tea. Guests and/or partners are also welcome but have to pay the full price of €65.50.

He will pass on details of where to send your contribution and the meal choices that you have selected and paid for in advance. Please note we are unable to reimburse any advance payments if you find you are unable to come at the last moment.

With only 31 places available, and to allow the restaurant enough time to order the food and arrange for sufficient staff to be present, we need you to let us know by no later than Monday, February 4th.
